1. Forward Flow of Medium, Valve Opens:
When the medium flows normally in the intended direction, the fluid pressure overcomes the spring preload, pushing the valve disc away from the valve seat, thereby opening the valve. The flow guide structure (such as guide vanes or a flow guide sleeve) within the guide channel effectively directs the fluid, ensuring smooth flow with minimal pressure drop. Simultaneously, this design creates a dynamically balanced, slight negative pressure zone behind the valve disc. The function of this slight negative pressure zone is to assist the spring in initiating the immediate closing action of the valve disc once the upstream medium flow stops or pressure decreases.
2. Imminent Backflow of Medium, Valve Closes Rapidly:
When the system pressure becomes unbalanced and the medium is about to reverse direction, the reverse fluid dynamic pressure combines with the constant spring force. This combined force rapidly and firmly pushes the valve disc against the valve seat, achieving a tight seal. At this moment, the flow guide structure also helps direct the reverse fluid, cooperating with the valve disc to complete the closing action, thereby effectively blocking medium backflow and protecting upstream equipment.Check Valve Technology
