Check Valve High-Head Accumulation Test
To avoid unnecessarily increasing design and manufacturing costs, it is worth considering whether a high-head accumulation test method can be used to partially eliminate the discrepancy between the actual working conditions of the check valve and the factory sealing performance test method. The main check valve product names of China Check Valve Network include:Flange Lift Copper Check Valve,No-load Running Check Valve,Flange Jacket Insluation Check Valve,Energy-saving Shuttle Check Valve,Pound Power Station Swing Check Valve
Specifically, this involves constructing an open high-head water tank, connecting a large-diameter pipeline to a pneumatically operated full-port ball valve, followed by a high-pressure pump, and then connecting to the check valve under test (Figure 2). Check Valve TechnologyNormally, the pneumatic ball valve remains closed. During the test, the high-pressure pump is first started to fill the test valve with fluid, and then the pneumatic ball valve is quickly opened. After the test valve is pressurized, the ball valve is closed (the water hammer pressure caused by the rapid closing of the ball valve is eliminated by raising the water level in the high-head tank). The high-pressure pump then continues to pressurize the test valve to the specified requirement. After stopping the pump, the leakage on the inlet side of the test valve is inspected.Check Valve Suppliers

By using the high-head accumulation test method with an open high-head tank, the check valve under test is pressurized with a full flow column of liquid in an extremely short time. Combined with continued pressurization from the high-pressure pump, this partially simulates the actual working conditions of the check valve, thereby allowing for lower design and manufacturing requirements and reduced costs. Therefore, the high-head accumulation test method holds value for further analysis and research.
